If you are like me, you will think the art of headhunting and true business partnering for talent acquisition is lost – best to do it yourself. The only way your opinion will change is if you engage Deanne Tindale.
Many recruiters claim to be headhunters, few are. Many promise the world, few deliver. We wonder what we paid for and we know we could have done the same thing ourselves, so we are really only buying time. This will not be the experience you have with Dreamvast.

I don’t post on LinkedIn and I don’t use recruiters.
This year I used a recruiter which has led to this post.
We engaged Deanne Tindale from DreamVast to run a search for a Group CEO at a time that was not anticipated and we were not prepared for. The group had undergone a number of changes at the senior and ownership level which called for care and attention beyond that of a planned and structured campaign.
In January, I engaged Deanne to take on that task.
Deanne undertook the campaign in a way that surprised on the upside beyond my greatest expectations.
That surprise was not so much who we ended up appointing although it was a successful campaign.
The surprise was around the following:
– Deanne took the time to really understand our business, people and culture. This I know heavily influenced the outcome.
– Deanne patiently worked with me reviewing every applicant from a very long short list. This helped me truly understand the spectrum of applicants.
– She was thoroughly involved with me as I interviewed the applicants. This allowed me to properly reflect on each applicant.
– It was tough decision between with two excellent applicants. She confidently handled me and carefully handled them to an outcome.
– Since the Group CEO commenced, Deanne has made regular contact with us both separately to ensure all has worked out as held out and hoped.
Throughout this process, Deanne was highly engaged and focussed on the outcome. I never once felt like she was just working a data base nor that was she just being expedient.
There was no pressure on me to appoint rather constant dialogue and guidance throughout the entire process.
I could go on but I think you have the idea.
If you have a senior appointment to make and looking for someone to truly partner with for that very important journey then I cannot recommend Deanne highly enough.
